Why does the title say "over 3 hours", when it is actually nearly 5?
I don't see the joke. The part isn't there, and they have to fly it.
Nothing unusual here.
Regarding flights, it looks like they are sold out until the 7:29PM, and OP doesn't show any AA elite status, so I am guessing his best option is the flight he is already booked on.
The line to the counter may be long, but that is not where I would go to rebook, unless I was near the beginnig of the line.
