I'm still confused about the "airbag" concept. It means you can't put a kid seat in the pod which is a pain to hold an infant for a flight. I supposed it must be something to do with the angled seating -- but seriously, what are you going to do if the plane crashes anyway??
Before folks go off about kids in J ... we travel TPAC and TATL with our kids all the time and they do great. As toddlers they make their own little world in the pod and, since we book overnights, sleep most of the way. The AC staff love it, or at least feign to, and we have never had crying, tantrums, running around, etc. in all our flying. That being said, it was difficult when our youngest was less than two and needed to be held all flight and couldn't just sleep in her carseat due to the airbag. They even make it clear that you have to hold baby on the side opposite the airbag in either sitting position or when sleeping. Oh well
