When I was there my hosts talked about Facebook being banned, and they said they work around it by having a private non-china IP address. If you know of someone with access to Facebook you might see if you can borrow their computer to access AS. I found that I could access FB on my phone, so if you have a smart phone you could try accessing AS from there also.
