Was flying from YUL to YYZ this afternoon and looking at the rather empty gate across the way where the YTZ flight was leaving. So I was wondering. Could some of the pax on the stand by list for YZ have crossed the aisle and got on on the YTZ flight. Assuming they did not have checked bags?
YTO is common rated, and T+ and above allow the ability to stand by for earlier flights....
Haven't tested it, but I believe the answer is yes. I know that you can do between EWR and LGA so don't know why YYZ and YTZ wouldn't be the same.
