Stayed at the 4 Points Asheville for a night last week. This was my first stay at a 4 Pts and I had read the reviews here before staying, so I had an idea what to expect.

The lobby, hall, and elevators did indeed feel a bit rough. Not quite the quality expected. The room itself was a very nice surprise. The furniture was nicely updated and the bathroom fixtures felt brand-new. The room vs other common areas felt like two entirely different hotels. The bed was quite comfortable and free wifi was nice. The room I had was also very quiet, I heard no other noises from other rooms, something I definitely appreciate. The hotel is also a five minute walk from the main downtown streets.

The receptionist at check in was also very pleasant. If I find myself in Asheville again, I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.
