Yeah, I can only imagine that it could possibly interfere with communications. Anything else; I doubt it. I have forgotten to turn it off many, many times. However, it is not about whether mobile phones can or can't do harm. It is about whether you can ignore regulations on board an aircraft that you don't agree with or that don't suit you.
