I am still FIRMLY of the opinion that (civil) wireless devices can cause zero harm to aircraft. I turn my phone into airplane mode for the duration of the flight but I do not turn it off. I will go a step further. Please show me a published, peer-reviewed, scientific journal that set out, unequivocally, that mobile phones and related devices, if left switched on, in any way interfere with an aircraft's systems or ability to operate in the intended manner.
