Anybody had luck upgrading a travel companion at the gate? I run into a colleague the other day and was wondering if, in principle, I could have upgraded him. This specfic flight was oversold, so there was no option at all. However, I had several East Coast - SEA flights lately, where FC seats went out empty, incl. ATL-SEA.
