tripadvisor if awesome - on wifi

use google maps, and when you have wifi, look at the areas you want to have available later

google maps will cache that certain area you "pre-loaded", and later when you have no connection, it will use your gps or nearby wifi connections (even secured) to pinpoint your location. no directions but it finds your location instead of you having to look for it.

this only works though!, if you look at every area and every zoom level that you want to save when you are on wifi. there is an unknown limit on the "amount" of zooms and map areas you can save before it starts deleting your oldest ones.
