Thanks BBB. Had missed the fact that the MD80 has a tail exit as well as a left rear one. It is a funny one. Maybe it did not deploy because the cone just kept hanging there?

I must admit when I looked at it again after reading WHBM's post it does look rather messy and unprofessional.
