Do a search on ctrip a few days before your flight to make sure it still exists. But, the cancellations we are talking about here are the ones that happen in the field. When that happens, ctrip can be a good friend (they try their best to minimize your agony; Expedia and most TAs in hotels are completely useless in this regard).
