Are you saying there is an additional charge for window-pairs?

I thought there was only two price points in economy: pay for a standard seat, or pay for an exit row seat.

Are you saying there are more than that, and BA charge more for 39A/B on the 777-200?

It sounds like you definitely deserve a refund, though, as others have said, this scenario is not explicitly stated in the T&Cs.

I'd respond again, perhaps point them at the two different seatmaps on SeatGuru so they can see the difference. I'd also state that I only pre-purchased the seats because it was two together and had those two not been available, I would not have pre-paid for seats.
