Sunday crew at National/Atesa better than Sat night employees. It seems like they will help -- but you can't get a tire changed in Avignon on Sunday (hard for an American to accept, but so it is). So it looks like I'll be stuck another 24 hours. It's a shame I saw the sights in town yesterday before realizing I had the flat tire. But I can have a lazy day.
Just be glad that it happened in Avignon, not in the middle of nowhere on route nationale. Yes, Sunday in France is unacceptable for all non-Europeans I guess. You cannot even do grocery shopping on Sunday conveniently.
