Delta skymiles credit cards that aren't AMEX?

Hello all. Just found a way to use a credit card to pay the mortgages on my rental properties, so I'm about to get a few hundred thou miles annually. My hub is Delta and my FF program with the most miles is currently Delta so I'd like to credit them there.

However, the mortgage paying company (chargesmart.com) won't take amex and when I've looked around, only AMEX partners with Delta.

Was wondering if there's anything I'm able to do before I resign myself to getting a Continental credit card and credit the miles there (or AA, though Conti seems to have better service/prices).

As a US citizen, I don't think I can get one of the Delta Visa/MCs that I've seen, and I'm not aware of any black magic where I can use 1 card, trade miles through some various rewards programs and then land them at Delta.

Appreciate your input.
