Boy QL, have you slacked off on your attention to detail now that you've won the Omni?

I read and reread, but couldn't figure out who the six of you were who had dinner at Brown Derby (QL, Hunnybear, Chirs, Gretchen, Catman, ????) ...

Until I got to the first mention of Burkey which was, "Catman and Burkey had flown home ...".

Boy, I know Burkey's not the most exciting guy, but no mention of him until he's gone?
