Citibank email: 20K AA miles for adding a Citi AmEx

New offer came via email today. I have an existing Citi AA MasterCard. I know that there has long been a small bonus for adding a Citi AmEx, but here's something I've not seen before:

By now, you've had a chance to enjoy your Citi® / AAdvantage® platinum card and all the special benefits that go along with it. When you apply for and are approved for the Citi Select® / AAdvantage® American Express® card, you'll enjoy even more benefits, including:

•Earn 20,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after you make $500 in purchases within the first 4 months(1)

•No annual fee as long as your existing Citi® / AAdvantage® platinum card account remains open and the 100,000 mileage cap is shared(2)

•Earn 1.2 AAdvantage® miles for every $1 spent on purchases during the first 18 months of cardmembership(3). After that, earn 1 AAdvantage® mile for every $1 spent on purchases(3).

Plus, you'll have the only card to provide Citi® service and protection, AAdvantage® miles and worldwide American Express® acceptance.

So apply now. Start earning AAdvantage® miles. You'll even get a response in 60 seconds.

But hurry – this offer expires 7/31/11.

I'm not sure if this is targeted or not. When I click the link in the email, it takes me to a blank application page (my name is NOT pre-filled in). The application page does not say anything about the 20K miles mentioned in the email.

Anyway, I'm tempted by this. Citi is on to me - they know I have an existing Citicard and I've therefore been excluded from the recent and very lucrative Citicard offers.
