If the air nozzles are blowing hot air, I don't really see what difference it makes. The cabin is hot because of the temperature of the air that is being vented into the cabin. Whether comes out of panels or individual nozzles isn't going to change much. The only thing the nozzles might do is accelerate the evaporation of perspiration making you think it's cooler.
The real solution is getting the crew to turn the temperature down.
