Thanks, I just found a timetable. There is a 25 minute stop in Townsville and a 40 minute stop in Mackay. Does anyone know anything about those train stations?
Yes, the first one you mentioned is in Townsville, and the second one is in Mackay.
Seriously though, I wouldn't be expecting much at either of those train stations. Maybe a small sandwich shop/cafe and a few vending machines. With stops as long as that you should have enough time to find something a bit more substantial to grab some snacks etc.
