Cheapest way to get to Belfast, Northern Ireland?

I'm thinking of going to Belfast in either mid to late June. I'm wondering what is the cheapest way to get there from within the UK? I thought it might be cheap to go from Stranraer to Belfast by ferry, but it's 56 GBP just for the return trip and that doesn't include the Glasgow to Stranraer train fare.

From Liverpool, I can fly to Belfast with Easyjet for US$62, which is quite reasonable to me, but I'm looking for a even cheaper fare if possible. The Liverpool option sounds better because not only is it cheaper, but I also don't have to go out of my way and go to Stranraer.
