No, bleary eyed though I am, I was just at SFO tonight (11/15); it definitely says "8888" unless some pranksters have been playing with the numbers.

The funny thing about LAX, is that a couple of months ago, I asked about a transcon lounge while in the 1K room and the concierge said there isn't one. Last week, one of the SFO 1K conceierges called someone in LAX on my behalf and received a similar reply. Odd that they would set up a room so secret that many of the UA staff don't know about it.
