Obviously, there are different ways to define "Best." But virutally every airline quality rating out there puts SQ well ahead of TG.

Nonstop on TG is a plus for that carrier, but the OP suggested that didn't matter much.

FF miles and alliances also ought to be considered, but unclear whether OP cares about that. SQ will earn miles with United, but only on certain, no doubt higher fares.
