now what i'm trying to figure out is how to read their matrices of info, because it sure looks to me like for some reason many of these dollar coins are valued at more than $1. could we possibly have been depositing coins at our banks that were collectibles??
someone set me straight please ..
Important: The PCGS Price Guide prices apply only to PCGS-graded coin
PCGS is a grading service so it's not unexpected that they value coins they grade as worth more.
So if you took a really nice $1 Washington and paid them to $14 to slab it, you too might have a $1 they say is worth $8
