The one thing I think Mrs 747_not_777 regrets more than anything is that she never got a ride on Concorde. We only got together in 2006, and by then it was several years too late to raid the BA Miles bank balance for a joint supersonic experience (so instead I just tease her with photos and tails of the experience regularly).

So, who got a shot at Concorde on FT? Who didn’t, and wishes they had? Or are you really not that fussed about the fast bird?

And if – a totally improbable IF – Concorde was to come back for a few special flights, how many BA Miles would you part with if it could secure a pair of seats on a one-way transatlantic to JFK?

For me, I'd tip the whole pot upside down and chuck all 500,000 in... and the 2for1 voucher! I think it would be worth it.

Oh - and these were some shots I grabbed from the perimeter road a few days before she stopped flying. Drove over with some friends to show them the spectacle that was Concorde... They didn't turn out bad for a 35mm point & shoot. Ah, those were the days!
