When was the XM project completed? Some 2-3 years ago? So basicaly it took AC just 2-3 years to renew the C product on the entire fleet, quite impressive IMO. ^
To get an idea of the old Exec First seats, just Google "waterboarding" and reverse the direction that the person lies on the slanted board.

Just flew TATL in one of the three Amigos, so no complaining about pod conditions from me. Also, since the 787s keep getting delayed I'm going to buy stock in whoever supplies AC with duct tape.
