Eastbay - sorry you had a bad experience on your trip As an erstwhile native I've never had the opportunity (misfortune?) of seeing Taipei from a tourist's point-of-view. Apparently CKS has much, much, to improve upon!

I really have to admire you for going all the way to from CKS to Taichung and back to Taipei - no wonder you got sick! The symptoms you describe, however, seems to afflict many people who visit, natives and tourists alike. Hope you feel better soon.
