I just was able to do this for a cert that expires at the end of May that was on Mr. Kipper's account. I explained to the the CSR that we just would not be able to use it by then, and asked if they could extend the due date. She said they wouldn't be able to extend the due date, but instead, could cancel the certificate and give Mr. Kipper 20,000 points instead.
