I searched the web and asked all the people I could and this is the first place I have gotten real answers to my questions! I have been trying to get this information for the last six months to no avail.

It would certainly be easier to fly with our own oxygen, but we only have two batteries, which means a max. 4 hours worth of oxygen. To get enough batteries to last 150% the predicted duration of the flights (we were told we would need to) would mean carrying on at least another 30 pounds of batteries (and paying $3,500 for the batteries).

If I have the right information, so I can plan ahead, I will have a better packing plan and feel much more confidant that this trip can and will go smoothly.
