The website of the
Consulate General of France in Washington states that Pakistani passport holders
do require an Airport Transit Visa unless you hold any one of the following:
- diplomatic passport,
- service passport,
- green card,
- re-entry permit (which is a specific kind of travel document ; the advance Parole is NOT a re-entry permit),
- residency permit in one of the countries of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Monaco, Andorra, Holy See, San Marino, Canada or Japan.
If you don't know what any of the above items are, it's safe to assume that you don't hold it and therefore don't qualify for this exemption.
You should contact
the French Embassy in Islamabad without delay.

Just came back to say - if you already have a valid Schengen Visa, then this will allow you to transfer at CDG. You would not need an additional Airport Transfer Visa in that case.
