I am Delta Gold. I flew Air France from Mumbai to Boston. My boarding pass said Elite instead of Elite Plus because of which I wasn't allowed access to Sky Lounge at Mumbai Airport. When I spoke to Delta agent over the phone I was told being Gold my boarding pass should say Elite Plus irrespective what airlines I am flying but Air France agents in Mumbai told me otherwise, that if I am flying any airline other than Delta it will say Elite and I wont have access to Sky Lounge.Only when flying Delta I would get Elite Plus status. Who is correct Air France agent or Delta representative?
