If you go into your booking on the SQ website and try to change seats it will show available seats, giving an idea of how full the cabin is. This certainly works when you OLCI. Of course there can always be pax who have booked but not had a seat allocated.
You can either confirm your existing seat, change seats or just back out of the page to change nothing.
dunno how well this works if you didn't buy through SQ. I bought my ticket through TA for a june flight back in feb (2 seperate itineraries since me and my family are flying back at seperate times, but flying out same time), and when I checked online in between buying, it would show the flight to be completely full ? I wanted to check my flight (6/16 on SQ15) and tried to see how full it was while i was buying my tickets. So this method probably only works if you bought through SQ.
