Hey Folks,
I've got to fly LAX-BKK (HKT) June 7 - June 12 (very small flexibility) and I'm trying to figure out the best way to book coach and then upgrade. Not sure if I could expect the medallion upgrade or if it's even possible.

I'm gold medallion with plenty of miles and I'm finding T Class fares on DL for around $1600. I think the Korean Air flight times are a little better but not sure if I can upgrade on Korean with DL miles?

Actually flying to HKT but not finding the connections with skyteam - would LOVE to shorten flight time if you all have any tips.

The overall goals are shortest flights because of tight itinerary and cheapest possible way to fly/upgrade biz....
