Couple things.
1. You got your F boarding pass and a DM security card at the same time?
2. A guess regarding being first on the list and then suddenly being 7th: there were probably higher status fliers on the cancelled flights; and the 3 of 6 who didn't show up for their call may well have found alternate ways of getting where they wanted to go.
3. The RCC agent frowning and typing at a terminal: maybe there was something important going on, requiring all of her powers of concentration. Of course, it wouldn't have cost much for them to nod and say "someone will be with you shortly," but you can't expect everything. Interesting that there was only one agent at the desk at the time.
