Also...NBO is one of my all-time least favorite airports. I go through JNB even when it is out of my way, just to avoid when possible.
OK, so looking at alternatives for a couple of days on the way home .... DAR, or MBA ? Should point out that I'll be on my own, so a lovers paradise like Zanzibar holds little in the way of attraction. DAR would be handy for getting the plane up to europe, but i know little about the place at all.
