Just having returned home after a 10 night stay in the Hotel G.
We arrived in the early morning from Frankfurt. immigration was a sweep. Got our luggage quickly as well then wondered where to change money. We used the ABC Bank in the arrival hall (there is an ATM as well).
On we went to take at Taxi, wich we got directly without any wait.
It was the official taxi stand, but the car didnīt have a taxameter. This I noticed to late, I mistook the HF radio for one. A bit shocked and wondering what will follow we arrived after about 30 min later at the hotel. The driver typed something in his mobile to show me 81, the charge.So no trouble there. Same at the hotel, where the manager told us we were so lucky. As said before we could use our room after a short wait, it was about 10:30 a.m.
We had a great stay there, the hotel is nice, breakfast good and even we had just a "good" room it was great.
Checked out this morning without any surprises( maybe the DCC, but didnīt care). Taxi to the airport ( 83 this time) and off we went.

A remark about the taxi: Be prepared that the driver speaks absolutely no english, even the numbers are a problem. I had prepared well, the hotels adress in chinese letters, a printout of google maps and google earth. No help. He just called the hotel from the airport and once again when we were near the workers stadium.
