Did any of you guys contact or confirm your reservation before showing up? If so, who did you contact and how?
My reservation is from June 3-8, however I get there on June 3 at 11pm. So I should be at the hotel by June 4th, 1am. Should I email to be sure that I am not seen as a no-show?

I had contacted the hotel before showing up. The reason was, that I had made a mistake when booking the hotel. Using GSM Internet and having problems with the connection I somehow confirmed the wrong date for a non refundable booking. Just when the confirmation page opened I noticed my mistake. So I booked the date I originally wanted as well. Last I booked the 10 nights between both dates, this time refundable. After this I immediately contacted booking.com telling them about my problem. Naturally they declined any change. So I contacted the hotel and told them that I had three bookings summing up to 30 nights but would like to keep only 10 of them. Graciously they agreed to cancel without penalty
From this and my stay I got to know the staff as very helpful and understanding. When we arrived it was about 10 am , but even so we could get the room after a short wait.
