Yeah, just remember the locals refer to Nairobi as Nairobbery with good reason. By all means enjoy the place but be careful and keep any valuables you carry about with you to a minimum. For a stay in Nairobi, I recommend the Intercontinental. Taxi drivers are generally reliable and I'd suggest giving the local mass transportation a miss (my one ride in a Matatu, for a dare, was not in the least bit amusing).
