Ok, I'm still trying to decide between Ren & CY. Room rates btwn the 2 for my stay are within 10Euros of each other. I'll be arriving by train from VIE. Obviously CY is easy to get to from train station, but my understanding is it's not that difficult to get to Ren from train - just switch over to U6/Northfriedhof stop.

Question - which is better positioned for sightseeing/tourist things? I'll arrive about 2:40pm on a Monday (Whitsun) & depart 9am on Friday via train back to VIE. So will have 3 full days to do various stuff.

It sounds like CY gives Plats brekkie each day. I want to confirm that because the Ren does since they don't have a lounge. Given the exchange rate, having free brekkie will come in handy.

What's everyone's success ratio on upgrades? Given I'm going to be there for 4 nights during a week, I realize I might just get a reg room at CY or Ren. But thoughts on where I stand a better chance?
