Unless you live close to a service center, for me personally all these warranties are a waste. Who can wait 3 or 4 weeks to get it repaired? Who has the time to go ship it and then wait for it and dealing with them all the time? What if the bags tear at the airport or at your house and you need one rightaway ? 3 or 4 weeks is so impractical unless you have a collection of 4 or 5 spare bags !

I just buy a cheap bag for about $50-$60 and they are pretty good. Costco is supposed to have good bags for about $150. I have the cheap Walmart brand bags for about $45 and they have been pretty good. Have used them for 20 hr international travel too frequently for multiple trips. Then, when they break ,just buy another one.And they last for quite a few trips making their price a bargain. No waiting hassle and all that annoyance. You can buy almost 10 of these bags instead of the higher priced fancier bags that cost $350 and up. Thats been my personal experience.
