Some airlines know this is true. I had some small perky feelings towards Southwest when they improved their livery to the blue one. Among larger to medium sized U.S. carriers, I think AA has the worst one. Alaska, Hawaiian, and Continental have one of the best. As for United, the late 70's orange, red, blue was nice. They should have kept the U tulip and put it on Continental's color scheme.
