Quick update - they suggested 4 weeks, so i called them after 5. They say Samsonite has trouble providing the needed spare parts (i.e., the wheels), and I could expect another 2+ weeks of wait.

Not so good; I've got some long haul travel planned soonish (who doesn't around here), and I had bought that case specifically to accompany my wheeled wardrobe :-( Substituting a different bag like I did on the last few trips won't be adequate this time around.

I'm really not impressed with Samsonite's warranty execution here. 7 (realistically, I expect 8+ now) weeks for swapping a set of wheels?
