Emirates Palace is in Abu dhabi. about one and a half hours drive from Dubai. it is a true palace. magnificent property.

In dubai. I like the Burj Al arab. you will be treated like a royal. it is an all suite hotel. the lowest suite category is huge ( 2 story suite) the lower part is the living area and fully equipped office ( fax, computer, etc.. ) and half bath. the upper section is the master bed room and huge bathroom. very luxurious. they advertise it as the only 7 star hotel in the world for a reason

The other property i really like in Dubai is Dar Al Masyaf at Madinat Jumeriah

it is an oasis. I love it and feel very relaxed when staying there. they have two type of room. one facing the beach and the other facing the lagoon and the Madina. i always pick the lagoon/ Madina view room. watching gondolas pass by and listing to the music coming from the restaurants is really a great and unique experience. service is very private and very top. Dubai is a great city just avoid summer times as it is very hot and humid. enjoy
