I imagine you'll have others tell you Cabo is too hot in August.
I'm not one of them.
Last August the weather was very pleasant and two weeks ago, when we were there, it was quite cool.
Too much so for me and others I spoke with around the pool.

Cabo Azul is not a luxury property and is located cheek by jowel with other hotels.
If you want something more upscale, on the corridor, my favorite resort is Palmilla.
I also enjoyed Capella, last year. It's very convient to Cabo San Lucas but is secluded.

I'm not much of a fan of Ventanas or Esperanza but many on this board feel differently.

These are all expensive resorts although everyone is offering "deals" this year.
