True.

But both forums are very skewed these days. This PMUA forum is angry and blindly biased against CO. The PMCO forum is angry and blindly biased against UA.

We will be happier if we can stand back, smell the roses, and figure out how to minimize the sting the many new thorns we need to navigate.

It is not all bad.
I disagree...completely!! I am also a seasoned flyer for the last 35 years...lots of status with a lot of airlines...and to accept a few positive changes with all of the negative that is coming down from Smisek and Co is pure defeatism. The airline industry is a customer service enterprise that needs to hear the truth from its customers. If the bean counters had their way, UA/CO would be Ryan Air like or worse! The airline needs to know that its best customers are not happy with the changes (and to let them know about those things we are happy with...not many)

To meekly accept changes that will influence our lives in a negative way...and to (as I mentioned in another post) increase the stress levels of travel...well, it is just wrong...and unacceptable! Change occurs when corporations are forced to make changes...in this case by unhappy very frequent flyers!!
