This doesn't seem right to me.........

booked a 25k Y US domestic reward ticket for my wife leaving tomorrow.

She checked in over the phone and the boarding passes came to my email address.

Her BPs have my OP a/c number on them, and 'elite access' *G, etc all over them. She checked one bag in over the phone and they didn't ask for any $$.

is this normal (i.e. if an elite books a reward ticket for someone else then the ticket holder gets the elite benefits).

If not, what's up?

I can't even change the a/c number on the ticket to hers (no status).

Should we just shut up, enjoy the free bags and let her board first (I am not flying with her).

Or is this going to cause her trouble at the airport?
