Indeed, that would be a change I really like!

PLEASE UA, give us the +/- 24 hours policy for confirmed standby.

On this I think you are dead wrong! (And fortunately you can't tell me I need more FT seasoning).

IMO, it has NOT been FTers constant complaining that steered the UA ship. FT is only one of many channels they listen to, with emails from profitable FFers making the largest difference, IMO.

I am tired of the constant negativity pervasive on our UA board; not everything is changing for worse.

In addition to the positive changes I listed above coming from the CO/UA merger, we also have a MUCH improved business class hard product to enjoy on most of UA's fleet we did not have a few years back. This makes UA a much better airline for a very frequent flyer like me but also infrequent flyers who now are more likely to choose UA again after experiencing UA business class (compared to how things were before).
