broadwayboy has a reasonable summary - I can't think of a place with good Indonesian or Balinese food, good views and good service. The good food usually comes with no views and bad service their and the music is scooter motors revving
Eni's worth a visit; some scattered other warungs as well. Consistency is almost always an issue in my experience but that's Indonesia.

bland? it's not haute cuisine but I don't find Balinese food bland - at least not if you eat with the chili's the local's do.
