BA's award redemption rates are constant year round. But it may be difficult to get three or four award seats on the same flight on certain routes during certain times of the year, no matter how far in advance you book, as all BA awards are capacity controlled.

Other programs, like AA's, offer three different redemption rates for a one-way Coach award between North America and Europe: a capacity-controlled off-peak (October 15-May 15) MileSAAver award for 20,000 miles; a capacity-controlled peak MileSAAver award for 30,000 miles; and a year-round AAnytime award for 60,000 miles, with last-seat availability.
