Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere...

I ordered a drink on a PMUA flight on Friday and paid with my Continental Chase CC and it rang up for $5 versus the usual $7 :^. FA said she hadn't seen the discount come up before. I've seen it on CO metal but never before on UA.

Not sure if the United branded card gets the discount too, but could be worth a shot.
