Visit to "The House Of Miles"

A couple of weeks ago Randy Petersen noticed on a thread that I was going to be in COS. Unsolicited, Randy invited me to visit frequent flyer Mecca, his new "House Of Miles". I had previously met Randy at the Hawaii PIP, and didn't hesitate for a second, replying that I'd strongly try to visit.

This afternoon with a four hour lull in my business schedule I rented a car and drove to his office, about a 20 mile drive from the Broadmoor. Randy's wonderful assistant- Janet, e-mailed me great directions and a enthusiastic restatement of their invite. Suffice to say it was a great visit. Randy's three month old facility is very attractive and employee oriented. The space plan is unique, and gives each staff member an attractive, spacious work area.

Randy is a great host, despite an obviously killer schedule (next week he's heading on the 1MM Latin Pass run). Nearly two hours after arriving, I had to excuse myself due to other commitments. Randy is genuinely interested in face-to-face discussions with Flyertalkers, and soliciting their input on the "industry". All in all, a great visit, that should be experienced by all of us. Any opportunities that my fellow posters have to spend a bit of extra time in COS, please try to visit this "Mecca". You will not be disappointed by Randy and his friendly staff.
