Looking at the website, they're missing the individual membership requirements.

Take a look at the Executive Membership application form - this tells you what you need for individual membership.

That said, I've found they're not too fussy about the criteria as I don't meet any of the employment types they claim are only eligible and I've had my card a number of years.

If in doubt give your local store a call - they're normally helpful as after all you're going to spend money with them.
